Andrea’s work as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment strengthened her desire to develop a program that caters to college preparedness.   But it was her work with children in the community and guiding her son and daughter in preparing for college entry that sparked the brainchild that is now The Next Chapter. Andrea believes in lifelong learning and wants to assist other prospective high school graduates in preparing for one of life’s greatest milestones by planning for and choosing the school of higher education most suited to their needs.

Andrea makes sure to maintain a great life-work balance by cultivating her creativity through journaling and arts and crafts, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.  In addition to these notable accomplishments, Andrea has obtained certifications as a Google™ Educator and Smartboard™ Trainer and was recognized as one of 2017 50 Leading Business Women in Mississippi.  Andrea is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, United States Distance Learning Association, Southern Association of College Admission Counseling, and several community organizations.
